Late March was when California’s 2017 super bloom hit the San Diego Area. Some friends and I decided to take the trek over to Anza-Borrego to take in the sights for ourselves; luckily, were not disappointed.

We found a little stream that we managed to have a on-the-go lunch by before taking photos.

"Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul."
--Luther Burbank

My advice to you all:
Take a map to ensure you know where the wildflower fields are in relation to the town and freeway.
Make a roadtrip playlist!
Take your time and really listen to the blissful silence the desert has to offer.
Be respectful of the area you’re in and be mindful of the wildlife.
Make sure you have a full tank of gas, lots of water, sunscreen, warm clothes, and of course, snacks!
Safe travels!
