BETTER BUZZ • Hillcrest, San Diego

In January 2018, Better Buzz Coffee Roasters opened up a new location in Hillcrest, San Diego. On my most recent visit, I compiled a couple photos to showcase their new location.

Walking in they have their classic "Buzzed" saying to greet you.

The counter is more of an island creating a more open environment and the building (yes, there is a whole Better Buzz building) is pretty much an aesthetic wareouse with lots of light and little plants sprinkled in.

Their drinks and food are still lovely. This location features a full kitchen so more snacks and small meals are offered here.

Some of my favorites from BB include:

○ The Mocha Buzz

○ The Horchata Latte

○ The Hot Chocolate

○ The Peppermint Mocha (seasonal)

○ Açaí Bowl

○ The "Better Breakfast" (featured below)

○ The dipped croissant

They managed to incorporate more green in this location using flower arrangements and plants at every table but they also have a room divider which doubles as a planter filled with rosemary, mint and sage.

Better Buzz's Hillcrest location is also a roast house where they roast their coffee beans. Pictured here is another photo of their counter island from a different side.

This Location is perfect for knocking out emails (not so much for reading a book) but is a great atmosphere with friendly people.
